Best concert you have ever attended.

I really haven't been to too many concerts, but of the ones I've been to, the most memorable would have to be Zeta's Bonzai 2001 show in Miami. If I remember correctly the performers were Linkin Park, Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Staind, Orgy, and The Offspring. It wasn't just the music that made the show, the concert on a whole was just fun.

Best concert was The Police synchronicty show at Shea stadium in NY, 84 or 85, I forget.

But the 100s of grateful dead concerts I have been to where the best.

Saw Pink Floyd in 92 or 93(for some reason I can't remember details) in Dallas and it was an excellent show. Tied with that would be the KISS reunion show I saw two nights in a row in Wichita and Oklahoma City.

I was at that show also.. and it was a great one.

Best concert I've seen however would have to be Ozzy Osbourne in '95 at the Meadowlands, NJ.. He really puts on a fantastic show!

I had a very good time at the '99 Halloweenie Roast.

My most memorable would have to either be Smashing Pumpkins at the Miami Arena in '97 or Dave Matthews Band last year at Dodger's Stadium. I had second row center seats for Dave Matthews, though.

Hmmm...can't pick one, but a few that stand out in my memory:

Soundgarden at a small (capacity ~200) club here in Atlanta back in '91 or so. This was the tour supporting Badmotorfinger....before they really got big. Unbelievable show.

Radiohead last summer at Stone Mountain. Relatively small outdoor show (approx 7,000 tix) so we were able to move up to the stage at will.

Saw Static-X at another fairly small club here in ATL a week or so ago. I have to admit that they put on a farking tight show for a "loud" band. Plus Wayne took a few minutes after the last song to shake hands and such at the front of the stage after the show. I thought that was pretty cool for a band that can command $20+ for a ticket.

For me it was Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds who I saw with my girlfriend 2 weeks ago at the Chicago Theater. Wow, he really can put on a good show. I saw the Stones in '99 and they were good but they would be the 4th best, BB King and Buddy Guy 3rd, and CSN&Y would be 2nd. Nick Cave just blew the others away though, and the tickets were much much cheaper, he he what a deal.

Which ones? Static-X or Soundgarden?

Static-X: bought a few and was comped a few for friends by a radio industry buddy.

Soundgarden: tagged along with another industry-connected friend (he's good friends with SG's then-manager) who got me into the pre-show dinner. I got to meet the band and Chris just happened to sit at our table. Was just him, me, and my friend chatting about guitars, songwriting and such for 20 min or so. I was pretty psyched considering I was 21 at the time and a huge SG fan.

Martin Sexton, the Showbox in Seattle, two weeks ago.

(most people have never heard of him, but that's ok - he's the best performer I've seen out of over 300 bands).
