I wish I could have seen most of the bands you guys have seen, like Pink Floyd and Soundgarden. The best I've seen is Rage Against The Machine for their Evil Empire tour. They were suppost to play with Wu Tang Clan, but they weren't there so Rage played even longer!!!

Just atteneded a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young concert that was awesome. Even though they are all getting on in age, they put on a hell of a perfomance.

Either the Extreme & ZZ Top show in '90 (?) or the Mr. Big, Great White, Scorpions outdoor show in '91.

The Damn Yankees/ Bad Company show in '89-'90 was pretty cool as well. Seeing Ted Nugent fire a flaming arrow at a giant poster of Saddam Hussein

Worst concert I ever attended was Dave Matthews.

Why am I not surprised those two statements are found by the same poster?

Way way too many awesome concerts.

Standing out in my mind now:

Day on the Green, Oakland featuring The Eagles "Hotel California" Tour along with Steve Miller's "Fly like an Eagle Tour" (including Heart's first tour and Foreigner).

Boston's first tour at Winterland, SF.

The Police Synchronicity tour (Oingo Boingo/The Fixx)

INXS' first american tour (Fresno)

NIN several times (at Honolulu's After Dark was best)

Black Uhuru

and the one I had the most fun at - not just the music but what happened at the concert (don't ask) - The Toadies.

Never been to anything remarkable - Air Supply in '81, Charlie Pride in '84, and Bon Jovi in about '90.

I'd really like to see one of those 6 or 7 hour Springsteen concerts.

Let me clear my throat:

. . . And the Goldenvoice/Radio Free Concert series in Hawaii from 1992-1998. I was a DJ there and got to see some great concerts all for free . . . NOFX/Offspring/NoDoubt/311/Pennywise/Sublime/Suicide Machines/Fudazi/Suicidal Tendencies/Reel Big Fish/Def Tones/Filter/Yellowman/Weezer/Outkast/The Roots/Cypress Hill/Janes'Addiction . . .

Also, the Coachella music festival last year.

EDIT: How could I forget Ted Nugent, Johnny Winter, Springsteen, Queensryche, Judas Priest, Tom Petty, Rush, Megadeth, Queen, Echo and the Bunnymen and Metallica concerts?

Third eye Blind. I had to rumble with some FIBs. FIB = fierce Illinois barbarian, in case you didn't know.

I would have to say Motley Crue on the Doctor Feelgood tour. I also loved the last Third Eye Blind Concert but that's probably because I was in the front row. I saw someone also mentioned Static X. I use to go see that band play tiny clubs here in L.A. before they got signed, they were great!

<< Radiohead Liberty STate Park NJ. Indescribable >>

I swear, not having gone to see them when they had their tour in the states is going to haunt me for the rest of my life. Pretty much everyone that's been to one of their concerts always rates it as the best concert they've ever been to.

<< Any of the HFStival's I've been too. Anyone in the DC area, you know what I'm talking about. So many bands... >>

The lineup looks awesome. I wish I was near the DC area, looks like a concert for everyone with a mix of rap, rock, and techno.

<< Its a tossup for me. Either the 'RUSH 2112' tour or the 'Queensryche: Operation Mindcrime Tour'. >>

That Queensryche show was simply the best show i've seen (presentation wise) outside of a Pink Floyd show. I saw it twice that year. That is one solid live band. Every member is more than proficient.

One of the more exciting shows I've been to was the Anthrax/Motorhead show at the Cleveland (Ohio) Agora (not sure of the year but I think it was the 'Among The Living Tour'). Anthrax opened up and within ten minutes they had to stop playing to cart 3 people from the mosh pit to the hospital. Motorhead took the stage and halfway through their set, large pieces (about a foot square) of plaster (not drywall.....PLASTER) started falling from the ceiling. They stopped the show because people were picking up the plaster and launching it all over the place. Motorhead finally started again and then played for an extra HOUR doing all kinds of cover tunes. Ahhhh....how I long for the times when bands actually cared what the FANS thought/felt!!!

The best all around show was the Monsters Of Rock show at the Rubber Bowl in Akron, Ohio way back in '88 (I think). Van Halen (sammy era), Metallica, Scorpions (simply great live band), Kingdom Come (ouch!), Dokken...etc. 12 FULL hours of music. It was the first of two days. I happened to pick the show where the temperature was 102 degrees. The temperature on the 'field' was measured at 125 degrees. People were dropping like flies. They ended up giving away bottled water and stopped selling Beer to help keep people hydrated. The local news had a helicopter stationed overhead most of the show reporting live to tv about the people passing out and that the promoters should have stopped the show.

The best shows I've seen recently was the Kiss Reunion show and Eric Clapton (did somebody say GOD?!?) in the Gund Arena Cleveland, OH. Enough said!

I wish I could have seen Stevie Ray Vaughn. That man was a guitar GOD. The epitome of a blues guitarist (played EXACTLY how he felt).

Well.....my CD collection is calling my name /me walks over to the 80's section, blows off some dust, pulls out some Mullet Rock, and cracks one open...ahhhh
