Eric Clapton at the Detroit Silverdome in the late 80's. Stevie Ray Vaughan popped out on stage 3 weeks before he died and jammed with EC for 30 minutes. I still have the ticket stub for that concert framed

Which tour?
Vapor Trails
Moving Pictures and GuP.
Damn, I wish. I'm thinking of seeing them again this year. They're scheduled to play early July in the brand new ampitheater across the river in Vancouver, WA. Should be nice.

Sleater-Kinney at the Highlands in Hollywood Feb 02.

This show was moved from the original venue. It's a bar in the hollywood/highland complex at the very top. As far as I know one of the few rock shows they've had there. The wooden floor was buckling (you could feel the waves) as people were jumping/dancing. It was pretty intense.

Yanni.

Saw him in Milwaukee a year or so ago. Had seats in about the 4th row. Obviously you have to like his music, but it was the most incredible show I've ever seen. He's a really great showman.

I have not been to one (YET!) but I have heard that Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a show not to be missed!

That Queensryche tour WAS great! TSO was pretty sweet - but Def Leppard's Hysteria tour was pretty damn good.

Used to work corwd management security so I've been to a lot of shows and mainly worked the pit.

Best concerts for me were the mellow ones where i got to enjoy the music and where the crowd was fun and not out of control.

KC & The SunShine Band 1999 - WOW, blew me away and the band was huge and sounded great. KC was a real showmen.

The day before hurricane Andrew, downtown Miami with 70,000 people

Pearl Jam
Soundgarden
Ministry
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Ice Cube

Unf*ckingbelievable concert, it was pure insanity, all of those bands were at their peak..

Oh, and Nine Inch Nails and Helmet was awesome, especially since it was at a really small venue with under 1,500 people

Tell me about it.. For a 17 year old kid with a lot of energy it was pure mayhem.. I swear to god I was 20 feet from the stage the entire show, we never took any breaks.. It was 10 hours of mosh pits, water hoses and the best damn music ever... I remember when Ministry came on a bunch of people near us told us we better move away from the stage, they were actually afraid for our safety.. I few minutes later all I see is a bunch of horns onstage and bam, the rush and pushing lasted for a full hour.... To me, that concert was my Woodstock, condensed in to one day. I lost my shirt, my shoes and my hat and was covered in mud when I got home.. I could barely walk.. As soon as I step inside my parents tell me its time to evacuate as a hurricane bore down on us.. What a day!

I think some events at Glastonbury 2003 (radiohead in particular) , although Amen live comes as the main favourite concert.

Johnny Winter, in a bar in Ann Arbor, 1980

He was playing much bigger venues at the time, but he loved the Second Chance.

Best bar ever to see a band.
All the table seating was tiered, so you could see over the people in front of you.
The dance floor was sunken so you didn't have to look through the dancers to see the band.
Great acoustics.
Weed was legal.

saw Ben Folds outside at White River State Park in Indianapolis last summer...perfect 65-70 weather, was just an awesome show and environment. Ben is great at getting the crowd involved. The first time I saw 311 (Murat Theater, Fall 2000) and when I saw Incubus there (before Morning View came out) were both awesome shows as well.

Weird Al at Six Flags St. Louis August 21, 2004. Poodle Hat tour. In the Old Glory Ampitheatre.

Unbelieveable. Beautiful night, about 70f, light breeze, non-smoking for the whole concert, he started playing just as the sun set.

Just to make it better it was free as we had a season pass for 2004

Best songs were "Couch Potato" and "Smells like Nirvana" by far for us.

In hindsight that show was'nt all that great. I would be bored stiff if I saw them again now.

I saw Roger Waters too 5 years ago or so and that was the worst concert I have ever been to.

To each their own.

you're not talking about pulse are you!? :Q that show was sick! but then again I only have a divx rip of it

That movie you have Pulse was the concert I saw(not exact one, same tour). The light show was amazing; the sound was good and at the time I was on cloud 9. LOL

I am definetly glad I got the tickets to go. Great memory it's just that particular concert having already seen it would not be as much fun today if I went.

Pink Floyd in 1994 was the second best concert I've been too.

It's just Prince is way more talented. He can play guitar better than anyone I've seen live and I have heard Jimmy Page, Santana, Jeff Beck, and Gilmour live and Prince blows them away.

On top of that Prince plays bass guitar better than anyone I have ever heard. Plus he sings better, can dance really good and was very entertaining. He intereacted with the crowd better than anyone I've seen and it was just a damn good time. Did I mention he wrote and produced a ton of awsome songs? The guy is just an awsome talent and on par with Michael Jackson.

I have'nt seen MJ but I would go to one of his concerts in a heart beat.

I like Prince's music over all better though and his concert was by far the most fun! No swaying zombies in the crowd, everyone was having a good time.

His band (Prince) was better than any band I have ever seen as well. I don't know all of their names but damn were they good!

So rating by stars like they do with movies I would give Pink Floyd 3 stars.

Prince 4 stars.

Roger Waters 1 star

Santana 2 stars

REM 2 stars

Tom Petty 2 stars

Page/Plant 1 star

Rusted Root (opened for Page and plant in 95) 2 stars

Billy Joel 2 and a half stars

Steve Miller "Band" 1 star

Greenday (free concert at hatshell in Boston in 1994) 2 stars ( were'nt bad but left the stage early because people were throwing grass clumps at them.

Thats all the concerts I've been to.
