anyone know where can i get a cooling fan for cheap but a good one that is quiet? i have a global win but its hella noisy. i was thinking about the golden orb... anyone can give me some advice?
Panflow L's are really nice and VERY quiet... CaseETC has them Here
Update these Panflow L models DO push Less air than their normal Counterparts,
but just mount a Larger Fan on the HS with a Fan Shoud or Fan Adapter as seen on
[H]ard|OCP and other sites...
I purchased the Golden Orb from 2CoolTek (awesome site). It is rated at 26db but I think it is actually a little louder than that. I have a PIII 700 overclocked to 933 and have noticed several times under severe processing that the processor got hotter than what the Golden Orb was able to cool. I currently have another case fan hanging from the power supply to also blow on the processor. I will be loading my case with Sound dampening sheets (from a local hardware store) and foam padding also to quiet down the beast.
