I have the 60gb PS3 and it makes a lot of noise and gets pretty hot. I put it in an open area that allows it to get as much air as it needs for cooling. Does anyone know of a good solution or which cooling fan is recommended the most? Thanks
Some people claim it rus cooler & quieter if placed vertically instead of horizantally, you can try that. If memory serves the side vent is right side so it would be left side down.
For the PS3 you just need ambient temp control. I had it next to my computer, "P180", and i noticed the aluminum panels on the ps3 side was very toasty. So i had a small desk fan blowing air at the area, and both were cold to the touch.
