It makes me sad to say it, but I find myself strangely unaffected by this. I recognize the greatness and the unselfishness shown by the father, who appears to be quite an amazing person, and the sheer magnitude of what he has done is mind boggling, but this story just doesn't strike me at the bone. Now, I am not a father, so I guess the only perspective I could have on this would be as a son, and quite frankly, I don't know if I could live with myself having my dad pull me around all the time.
