Something around $100 to maybe $150. Go!

I could care less about Spotify or I Heart Radio integration. I want the most solid bluetooth audio possible and a good mic for voice calls. I use Google Play Music for audio on my phone and I haven't seen a receiver compatible with that so far at least. Thanks!

Once you have it you can never go back...it's about the only new fangled thing I actually like in automobiles. Unfortunately, I don't have any recommendations. I know that even my Ford Sync system is compatible with most android applications though, so I don't think Google Play Music should be an issue.

If all you want is bluetooth audio and a mic, basically anything with that feature should work well enough.

I'm pretty simple I want to make quality calls via bluetooth and a mic and be able to play music through my phone via bluetooth through the stock speakers on my 2006 Accord, ballin ATOT style. No cd player, no crazy output needed, etc...

FWIW I would spend the extra and go Android Auto, because Android Auto is awesome.

My budget is $300 installed and I can't install it so I have to go to a shop. It's not an easy install. The stock radio on the Accord is going to stay in the car and the receiver goes in underneath the climate control in an empty space that's currently used as storage.

The cheapest Android Auto ones are around $400

Double DIN units drop into the low/mid 300's on sale, but yes - it's not cheap. I would still pay the extra if it would be a viable option.

Ahh, it's one of those. That's unfortunate. Although, having space available there makes it easier than some.

Why can't you install it? What year is the accord?

How much less could you care?

It's a 2006. The stock dash radio will not come out, but below the stock radio and climate control buttons is a cubby. They will remove that cubby and install the head unit there. The stock radio will stay in the dash but not be used.

I put something very similar to this in my Scion a few years ago and never got a complaint about the bluetooth sound quality. Streams whatever you want to play from your phone and worked well with iphone and android.

Thanks. An actual suggestion

I'll probably get that or this Pioneer https://www.crutchfield.com/p_130X6800BS/Pioneer-DEH-X6800BS.html

Install is $125 plus $35 for the kit to convert the cubbyhole into something the head unit can slide into. Not so bad.

I see what you're saying now. I think you can replace the stock unit with an aftermarket, but looks like you would need some sort of climate control adapter which is likely not as good as the stock option.
