Best Digital Camera deal around $200 at costco.com

Found a Konica KD-200Z at costco online, just go to digital cameras and then konica

There is also a $50 rebate for it.

At $200 bucks this thing seems insane I ordered one for my gf for christmas.

optical and digital zoom and it is 2.1 megapixel, lcd and regular viewfinder.
sparce reviews on the net but everyone of them has been outstanding

Hmm... doesn't seem like a bad buy. However, it should be noted that Konica neither uses Smartmedia nor CompactFlash. It appears the memory cards it uses are the SD/MMC cards (like in the new Palms). At least on Costco, it's like a dollar per megabyte, a bit more expensive than Smartmedia or CompactFlash.

It's $200 after the $50 MIR. Still not a bad deal though, it looks like a nice camera. Way better than the cybershot p50.

Looks like a good camera, but also remember it's powered by CR-3V Lithium battery, non-rechargeable. It's can get pretty expensive considering these batteries are around $8-10 a piece if you can find one.

the website says that battery will last up to 1250 shots. sure its not rechargable but that seems like a lot to me. of course that is most likely without using the lcd.

UPDATE----can't seem to find the friggin thing anywhere instock. Also, considering the fuji 2800, 6x optical zoom nice AA batteries, plus a weird thing, the konica has only two AA's wonder how long they last?

This is a printer right? I went searching for a 785epx camera and it looks like it's a printer. This is a digicam thread right?

From the reviews it said that the batteries last an extremely long time compared to most digital cameras.
For $200 bones a optical 2.1 pixel camera seems really good. Most of the 2.1's around this
range only have digital zoom. The reviews also said that the functions and picture quality were excelent.
Most of the other places that are selling it are $300 plus so not to shabby. When my gf opens it
well take some pictures and tell everyone how it is.

And if you don't want the printer, you can ebay it for more than what you pay for it...

Can you really use AA batteries? I looked on their spec. page, it says nothing about AA batteries. Look at my post above.

I've been looking for a deal on a digital camera for my gf because she really wants one.

Compared to all the other digicam deals in this forum, this one is VERY HOT!

This is a 2.1MP 3x optical zoom ULTRA COMPACT digital camera. Have you guys seen the specs on this? Its exterior dimensions are about the same as the Canon Digital ELPH S300 which is also 2.1MP, 3x optical zoom that costs $500! Not only that, but this camera is only 5.9oz!!! Over 2oz LIGHTER than the Canon S300!

It CAN use AA batteries, the CR-3V is a dual AA battery pack. Any camera that can use CR-3V batteries can use 2 AA's instead. Most specs I've seen for this camera specifically say it can use AA's.

While user reviews of this camera are very sparse, what few I've seen have been all good. This is the same camera as the Minolta DiMAGE E203. More info

CostCo site doesn't mention whether it's in stock or not. I decided to order it anyway. My total came out to be $285.90 with tax, shipping, and the 5% non-member fee (we don't have a local Costco). After rebate it will be $235.90 which I think is a really good deal on this camera, considering I paid a lot more for my Olympus D-510 Zoom.
