I've got an Olympus D460, and I must say it is very intuitive to use, and takes pretty good pictures. Although it only comes with a serial port standard, so if you have to use batteries when uploading to the comp, it will drain the batteries. I got a snazzy little USB Smart Media reader at Fry's for fourty bucks. By the time you add up the neccessary accessories with a D460, it's about ~$650. So if you just want to get a camera that you won't be forced to buy accessories right away for, the S10 is your best bet. You can find it on Mysimon.com for about $360. It comes standard with a USB hookup, so uploading to the comp is a snap. Feature-wise, the D460 and S10 are identical. The exceptions are the S10 has a 2.2 (or if you take away the GG overhead, 1.9 ) megapixel matrix, while the D460 has a 1.3 megapixel matrix. Also, the D460 has a 3X optical zoom, and the S10 has a 2X optical zoom. However, the D460 is very battery friendly, it can take four batteries at a time, and the S10 holds two, respectively. The S10 is constructed of mainly steel, so it just feels robust, like you can toss it in your pocket and just bust out whenever you want, and the D460 feels somewhat fragile.
