Crap...I can't make a 15 ml bottle last a week...

I'm still smoking 6-10 cigs/day but I'm gradually going to attain my goal which is to just vape (hopefully). I hear mtbakervapor.com has really good ejuice and good service. Just out of curiosity what PG/VG blend do you use??..

Well after doing this for a while it's been a huge success. My final set-up is Ego Twist and EVOD's. Misread up top, I don't have a Protank. The Twists work great with enough better life to get me through a day on one battery. Same with the EVOD, holds enough juice to get me through a day. I'm really liking the cheap heads for the EVOD, makes running costs low.

Juice wise I haven't had a lot of luck. Tried a few including Mtbakervapor and just haven't liked much. The fruity stuff just doesn't work with me. What I have found works for me is a menthol blend from The Vapor Room, just order 90ml of the stuff.

The transition was seamless. I didn't have much of an urge for a regular cig from the start. No going out side, no stink. I can breath a lot better and feel better in general. It's been a good transition.

Joyetech with variable voltage selection. Certain juices are better at higher volt and certain are better at lower. Personally I like the voltage set at about 4.0-4.2.

There are many great flavors to choose from from dessert to even bacon flavor juice. I recommend TastyVapor and Ms T's for custom juice flavors.

I picked up a couple bottles of Mt. Baker juice over the weekend. meh...not very flavorful. Not terrible, just not great.

Boom, it sounds like you're like me in this...most of the flavors out there seem too sweet and "kiddy" or "girly" for my preferences. Still...if you're not smoking...why taste (and smell) like tobacco?
A GOOD shop will have testers for the various flavors. Spend some time tasting various ones until you find one you like...or one you can tolerate.
Right now, I'm vaping RY4 (caramel and vanilla) as well as pina colada.

It's not a strong tobacco taste, lots of menthol. I've tried about everything I can think of I think I'd like from French Vanilla, various fruit flavors, desert flavors, etc. I'm really out of ideas on what to try. There certainly isn't a strong tobacco smell with it.

Whatever works for ya...it's definitely better for you than cigarettes.
I still haven't found anything that I "LIKE," but have found a few that I can tolerate.

I haven't read the entire thread, would just like to give my thumbs up for http://www.volcanoecigs.com/

Been vaping the Inferno for over 2 years now. I'm about to move up to the lavatube soon though as I had a chance to try one recently, they are amazing.

I'm looking into getting an e-cig in the near future and I think I have it narrowed down to the eGo eVic and the VAMO V5 (I want variable voltage & wattage).

If I went with the latter, what would I need in addition if I bought this VAMO V5 (assuming I pick up batteries and whatever charger)? Also, what tank do you guys recommend? I'm guessing that's what holds the juice?

This frickin e-cig stuff is more complicated than it needs to be, lol. So many damn choices and parts to buy, if you want a decent setup anyway. I just know I'd like variable voltage and wattage for the flexibility (and because I'm a tinkerer).

I never really smoked but I got a vape for fun since my buddy owned a shop. I was using it a ton then I got tired of the constant maintenance, cleaning, and wick changing.

I have a Joyetech e-vic...I'm not that impressed. I like that it's variable voltage/variable amperage, but IMO, it's not enough better than an adjustable ego/510 battery to justify the extra price.
I have one of these as my "spare" vaper:
http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_VV_eGo_Battery_1300mAh_p/vs-s1300.htm

I actually like it better than the evic...the battery doesn't hold the charge as long...but it's not nearly as big or heavy.

Which ever way you go, get a bottom coil cartomizer. (BCC)

I have one of these:
http://www.myvaporstore.com/Kanger_Unitank_BCC_p/krut-k.htm

and one of these:
http://www.smoktek.com/iSmoka-Mega-BCC-bottom-coil-clearomizer-35-ml_p_688.html

plus one of these as a spare:
http://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/12-d...e/aspire-et-bottom-dual-coil-bdc-clearomizer/

I've been vaping this stuff:
http://www.eciggity.com/aloha-e-juice/

in blueberry and pina colada. Pretty decent flavors.

if you want something smaller that is still vv/vw try:
http://www.innokin.com/itaste-vv-v3.0.html

small, uses micro usb, and has variable voltage or wattage in a smaller ego style threaded device. I use one and its great.

I don't use clearomizers though, I got inconsistent performance from them and I've tried a bunch. I just drip into boge cartomizers. I add about 2 drops and its good to go for a few puffs. Also its more conservative on the juice since you aren't fiddling with trying to fill a tank where alot goes to waste when cleaning, etc.

Edit: also be cautious if using flat-top batteries with the vamo. They can lose power connection easily with the top pole and cause severe annoyance when the vamo keeps shutting off since it takes several clicks to turn it back on. This was my experience, but others are reporting no issues.

In addition to the VV their is the MVP 2.0. No need to get a giant beast to have VV/VW abilities. The MVP has more advanced circuits than the anything listed and is extremely similar to what's in the Provari. I use both the VV and the MVP on a daily basis, both work great.

One pack every 3-4 days isn't very much, IMO...that's how much I typically smoke.
As a smoker, you should be more informed;

http://tobaccocontrol.bmj.com/content/14/5/315.full
Health consequences of smoking 1–4 cigarettes per day... In both sexes, smoking 1–4 cigarettes per day was associated with a significantly higher risk of dying from ischaemic heart disease and from all causes, and from lung cancer in women.

There is no safe level of cigarette smoking, just varying levels of fucking awful for you.

I use the Orbit and love it. Adjustable strength and stainless steel construction.

I moved to the MVP 2 a couple of months ago and its pretty good. Only complaint is that I wish the base was bigger so it wouldnt tip over so easily. And the charging port was on the side or top.
