What earbuds are better than Apple's and are similar in that they do not have those annoying gummy fills that get clogged up by ear wax?

I buy almost nothing but Sennheiser, and stocked up on the old MX and CX (bud and canal respectively) years ago. I have HD600 and few others for home use, but walking around, exercising, I fail to see the need to spend more than $25 on sale. Most used are my old MX400, foam stuff replaced many times.
Clean your ears regularly and use whatever plugs you'd like.
