I never said it was one experience
Sorry didn't read this far when I responded. Oh so you have seen first hand what one pitbull did to another dog. Well why didn't you say so.....
Here you go short and to the point
1. Bitten by a pit bull as a child by one that came into the street after getting loose.
2. neighbor bitten by one
3. Our spaniel mauled by neighbors dog and nearly killed
4. Another neighbors beagle mauled by same dog, they had to choke the pit bull to get him to release the beagle.
Oh this is EASIER than I thought.....
1. Dog, loose. Bad owner. No ifs, ands, or buts. Bad owner. And you expect the dog was raised properly? Once again, not the dogs fault.
2. Let me guess, pretty much same as one......
3. I think I explained dog aggressiveness. Common in pitbulls and other dogs. Want to ban the other breeds too?
4. Once again, same things.
You have shown NOTHING but bad owners who had powerful dogs. I won't argue that pitbulls aren't powerful and that they aren't dog aggressive.
HOW ABOUT SOME REAL DATA...
"The concern over vicious dogs and new legislation aimed at certain breeds should cause us to wonder what is the propensity of different breeds to be vicious?
The American Temperament Test Society has a standardized test aimed at determining the temperament of any breed of dog. They have been testing dogs since 1977. 25,655 dogs were tested between December 2003 and December 2005. If a dog passes the test it?s given a ?TT? designation.
An average of 81.2% of all dogs have passed this test. How do the different breeds compare? You might be surprised!
