Best fan: Dell CPU exhaust fan?

Does anyone know who manufactures the fans Dell uses on their 4500 systems? This fan is near silent and appears to move a lot of air. I seems the Dell fan produces less noise than a Panaflow, but moves about ~35 cfm (guess, obviously). This is my ultimate fan!!!!

I remember hearing that they use Adda or NMB fans, one of the two. I'm leaning towards Adda but still not sure.

Those things ARE SO quite. I helped a friend of mine install a new hard drive and at first I thought his fans were broken...I couldn't believe it. I'd like to know what they are too.

Well, if they're NMB's they're not the same ones at SVC!!!! I have some NMB's from SVC, and while quiet, they don't push a lot of air. NMB's are also horrible if there's any sort of reverse pressure or obstruction.

Well on the dimension4100's Dell uses a 92mm NMB fan and on the poweredge 500sc they use a 92*38mm 3fin delta! 80cfm 46db! Now that sucker is strong! The fan is in the duct on the back but you can feel the air getting sucked in from the the front of the case!

Well i know on dell's top desktop comp 8200 uses a Datech or also known as JMC or RDJD, as 92x32mm fan that passively cools the CPU and really the only case fan, seems shitty but surprisely does the job well.
Specs on the Datech fan in the 8200, its varible by temp, but usually sits at 15db! 20cfm...i don't know its specs at higher temps, but i've never seen it even speed up, so i guess lets not worry about it

When I worked at my local comp shop I never saw NMB in any pre-built comps (ya know like compaq, dell, gateway, micron, intel and so on)...its mostly Nidec espically in servers Nidec is common, Sunon on occasion, Delta i saw or rebadge of Delta and Sanyo Denki.

my dell precision 340 uses mnb as well, and it's that silent that you do not even make any difference when it is turned on or off (ok, partly due to surrounding noise)

It is an NMB, but it has a thermistor on it to control the fan speed by temp. I see them all of the time as I service DELL's onsite. I have 5 of them in my case and they are sweet
