No no, I gotta agree. I've never walked away from a Wendy's impressed. I've walked away disgusted, but that was because of that particular restaurant's state (I waited 20 minutes to order inside, counted 6 flies around). Wendy's is just meh. Their dollar menu, other than the frosty, is shit. The double stack and junior bacon have no flavor, and their chicken sandwich is one of the worst dollar chicken sandwiches out there.

The only time I have food that was noteworthy was when spending $4+, which is never when I am buying. You have to pay too much at wendy's.

Now if I had a choice, it would probably be carls jr. They have great breakfast burritos and those mini hashbrown things for breakfast. If you want to eat cheap, they have the best dollar chicken sandwich, and great value famous star, or big burger for cheaper. They also have coupons frequently that allow you to get various six dollar burgers at a cost of ~$2.50 each. Also, some locations have the green burrito, which would add more variety if you had to eat their for the rest of your life.

I googled it and found plenty of locations. And that's just one country. I doubt you'll ever find them in LA, though.

I thought the place started in Taiwan. Oh well, I know it's big in Taiwan and I've had it a bunch of times there. Yummy stuff. The only friends who know of them are Taiwanese. A few Cantonese friends of mine know but have only heard of it. I took them to eat it in Taiwan last year.

Hmmm. I'm hungry now.

I would go with SONIC. They're not necessarily my favorite fast-food place, but when you're considering what you'll eat for the rest of your life, variety is very important. I like the breakfast and dessert foods at SONIC a lot, and they're available all day long, which adds more variety than a lot of other fast-food places. Plus I could just spend the rest of my life in my car, because they'd bring the food out to me .

I know/like MOS Burger and I'm not Asian.

I do like their breakfast sandwich: Peanut butter, egg and bacon on a roll! Don't knock it 'til you try it.

The "no mayo" is key, b/c you get one fresh--not sitting on the warmer for god knows how many hours. Of course, I order it that way b/c mayo = the devil, but the fresh-made sandwich is a nice bonus.

And I probably agree with the sentiment here.

Jack in the Box looks like someone did just that.

They're good, great even. They serve Breakfast 24 hours a day + it's good, extreme sausage sandwich for the win! They have unusual, but tasty tacos. The Taco Nachos are different and taste great. The Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges are delicious. I LOVE The Bacon Ultimate Cheese burger. The Bacon Chibata burger is awesome, and any burger can be ordered on Grilled Sourdough. A Big Cheeseburger on Grilled Sourdough is ummmmm good. They also have very good normal fries, and their Seasoned Curly Fries > all other places fries. If you don't like a Bacon Bacon Cheeseburger combo with seasoned curly fries, you don't like fast food...

They also have the largest selection on their menu hands down. Wendy's is good and has a great selection, but it doesn't even compare. JITB has a crazy number of burgers, fish sandwiches, chicken, pita wraps, rice bowls, Mozzarella Cheese sticks, and other stuff.

The sandwiches are assembled to order, mayo and other condiments are added then. What it is that they will fry several breasts in advance and if you order one after it's been sitting in the fry bin for awhile quality will suffer. I ofter order fries with no salt to get fresh ones..

This is true. That's why I never eat pho anymore. I love it to death, but the MSG in there leaves me with "pho mouth" for the rest of the day. Nothing makes it go away, not gum, not cigarettes, not anything.

Jack in the Box looks like someone did just that.

Well, the major burger fast food joints around here are:
McDonald's
Burger King
Jack in the Box
Wendy's

Those are the ones in every city... and have been around as long as I can remember.
Burger King has the best tasting burgers, but Jack in the Box has the widest variety of other food types.

Wendy's and McDonald's are garbage.


That is why I've eaten Jack in the Box the most.
Plus they are pretty much all 24 hours. McD's is just finally catching up and making some of their restaurants 24 hours... There is 1 24 hour BK I know of.... and I'm a night owl so Jack in the Box was a mainstay for years
