Best foods to eat before sleep

If I want to wake up at 4 am vomiting pure stomach acid that could melt through the hull of a battle ship, I have a delicious pepperoni Hot Pocket.

You may want to have that checked. I had sleep apnea that use to suck up my stomach acid and made for a very bad wakeup in the middle of the night.

A problem I have had off and on, enough to take meds, even was on Rx (omeprazole, is the generic) at one time. Nowadays I'm completely "normal" and have no need of meds. The only time I have it is if I eat before bedtime, a bad habit. Bad bad bad.

I acquired an ulcer. Boy that sucks. Went to the ER twice in as many months. Got three prescriptions. Zantac I took for a month, Norco for the pain and something else to combat the nausea that Norco creates.

Funny you should mention it, as I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea a handful of years ago. Sensibly, I did nothing, and now it seems to have gotten worse. I have a new sleep study scheduled in a month or so.

Not to derail this wonderful thread, but are you on CPAP? I couldn't stand the full face masks. I hear the new nasal pillows are better, but I need to deal with my congestion. Woe is me.

I'm also not entirely sure how apnea leads to these night horrors (I've had them as well), but I've seen it mentioned elsewhere.
