If you're concerned about having a power supply that fits the case, then feel free to ask around here. I'm not sure what exactly the required measurements would be. There are definitely more than enough people who have P180 systems

I wish I could include myself among them, but for now all I've got is the P180 - I'm waiting for ATI's new crap to come out so the price wars will drop the costs of a new motherboard/video card down to "me" levels. In the event that your power supply is incompatible for whatever reason, here's a short list of suggestions for power supplies that should work well with a P180:

-Antec SmartPower 2.0 500W
-Antec Neopower 480W
-Antec Phantom 350/500
-Seasonic SS-500

There are plenty of people who build nice, quiet P180 systems over at SilentPCReview.com. Those are just a few of the recommendations that I've seen floating around their forums; if you wanted a little more in-depth analysis or more suggestions, head on over there and see what they have to say. Me, I plan on getting the SmartPower 2.0 because its price is wallet-friendly and it seems like a good, solid PSU.

Actually it's the length of the wires that is important for the P180. I certainly hope Antec didn't limit the length of the PSU as that would elliminate a lot of nice PSUs (e.g. Zippy 600, 700, 800+; the similarly powered PCP&Cs; some OCZ units, etc.)

I personaly went to Compusa to see how P-180 looks like, because alot of people are buying this case. I would like to tell you guys that this case sucksssssssssss oh my god i never saw an ugly case like that for that much price.

If i compare my Ultra Glossy case with this P-180 it is like comparing a ferrari against suzuki

you guys should check Ultra Glossy cases they are beauty & it have all the space you need with 3 intake fans & 2 for rear it runs cool and quite with the paint job of an expensive car.
There are 4 or 5 colors to choose from check their website at www.ultraproducts.com and see for you self read the review before spending over $100 on that crappy p-180.

Yeah, it's like comparing a P-180 Ferrari with primer against an Ultra Suzuki with a fresh coat of paint.

Those glossy Ultras are just a new paint job on a 5 year old case design. I like my AOpen A600B case better - original design, aluminum, 120mm fans, integrated fan speed controller, numerous drive bays, integrated LED lighting... Oh yeah, did I mention that it has a glossy car finish? It even comes with a fake-chamois polishing cloth.

Back to the OP...

"Quietness isn't an issue"
"Size/weight not important"
"roomy, runs cool"

For all of these, just choose whatever case has 120mm fans front/rear that you like the looks of since most of those will fit the listed requirements.

"looking awesome helps too"

Can't help ya there, buddy. Looks are very individual. Some people like the "15 year old gamer" look. Personally, I like cases that look uncluttered and not too busy, but with a side window.

BTW, forgot to mention the case I use for my gaming rig, the Antec Super LAN Boy. I have some pics in this thread.

Why would you recommend an ultra product? Their psu's are complete garbage. I had two fail on me within 6 months of each other. They are only one step above generic.

Personally, I hate the case. It's HUGE, HEAVY and NO WINDOW. I know OP doesn't care about all this but you never know, especially when you plan to do an upgrade you have to move it around . Case with lights will also very attractive any fun. This case just too plain and BORING.

Why don't you give acrylice case a try. I think they are fun.

105 for the p180 is sweet. im concerned about the powersupply motherboard cable not reaching as has been reported. how do i know if my PS will reach ok. im gonna be paying someone by the hour to put my pc together, and cant afford any lengthly installation problems.

The way you check to see if your PSU cables are long enough....or one of the ways you can check is to call the PSU manufacturer and ask them!!

My cables are all at least 18 inches long!!

I called 4 PSU companies and I settled on what I fondly call the beast--

LIAN-LI PC7B Plus

Best "gaming" case in that price range is the Lian-Li PC7B Plus...Second place is way....And I mean way back there...In my humble opinion of course.

Build quality second to none in the industry...Plenty of people feel that Lian-Li cases are the very best cases availble.

Very nice case with a window for the Lan crowd that likes to show off their box...2-120m/m fans and a 80m/m blow hole fan provision (the 80m/m fan is not provided).
Solid construction even considering the aluminum construction...Excellent thermal performance...Does not have the removable motherboard tray.

You just have to make sure that you purchase the PC7B Plus that has the 2 120's and the 80m/m blow hole provision...There are several versions of the case so make sure it is the right one.

And to top it off timeless looks that even today have a simple elegant look about it.
