Best GeForce 2 card on the market.

I'm thinking about getting a new video card because of the problems with my current Asus v6800. I'm thinking of getting it from here: www.a-power.com However, what other good places are there to buy hardware online that is cheap and has good support. I'd prefer to get it in Canada since that will cut down on the shipping costs. Thanks alot.

hmm, since you already have an Asus card, will you be willing to get another?

I have a V7700 and it is quite the nice card, it even has built in hardware monitoring (GPU fan speed, and core temp) - is a totally great card, no issues at all.

I recommend any of the Asus line of GF2's from alot of experience with them. (V7700's and V7100's for the most part.)

It might not be, but it might also just be a fluke, I gotta say I've used alot of the GF2 Asus cards and they've all been wonderful..

I love my V7700 card.. runs just dandy!

I'd stick with them, if not, Gainward has a great rep. and a good price, too.

The one I've had my eye on recently is the Gainward/Cardexpert GeForce 2 TITANIUM Ti/500XP, 4ns 64MB DDR, VIVO, Golden Sample Plus. Retail available at Newegg.com for $136 shipped. I will probably be getting it sometime in January. I'm not sure if you had the ASUS Deluxe or not, but if you did this would have the VIVO that the Deluxe had. Seems like a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

Before you go and spend a hundred or two on that new video card, what are the problems that you are having??

If you do decide to get a new video card, a GeForce3 TI-200 might be an alternative to consider.

Canada Computers

NETLINK is my favorite, but Canada Computers seems to have some sweet prices.
BigFoot is mostly overclocking gear, but they sell some hardware like mobo's too.

Yep, they're good, I last ordered a set of Tt memory cooling kits for my system memory and video card cooling, if i remember correctly, it was a mere 2 days later that i received the goods. They are specific in what they have ( mostly overclocking stuff, and case modding goodies ) but they have good prices on what they do have.. I'd buy from them again, only problem is, they don't have everything people want. but for what they have, they're great.. yep i tried to sum it up for you.. - I buy more from NCIX (whom i also have had no problems with) because they carry more product, but I'd buy from both of these vendors again!! hop that helps you!

Frankly, you may as well cut your losses and get an OEM GF3 Ti200 or Radeon 8500. The expense isn't much more, especially when found from pricewatch or pricegrabber.
