best headphones under 30

Hello, I am looking to buy headphones(ear bud sized) for my MP3 player. I would like some input on which you all think is the best for under 30 dollars off Newegg

If you can afford ~40$, the Koss PortaPros are pretty nice, very nice kick to bass drums. Very good for rock music. Not great if you want the "non-fun" analytical audiophile stuff that one might prefer in the comfort of their home.

Id say this is a great "going-go-the-gym", or running headphone because it can handle a nice driving bass beat musics.

Another great alternative is the Sennheiser PX-100. These have slightly less bass than the koss, but better detail in the highs.

With these headphones, you wont be upgrading for a while. They pretty much seal the deal for great sound quality until you hit the 150$ price range.

koss KSC-35 sounds really nice but my clips keep falling apart...

just bought the EP-630 few weeks ago. overall i think it's kind of hyped (or maybe im expecting too much). still sounds kind of tinny (i guess with the tiny drivers), but sound isolation is good but i can hear wind noise and the cable scratching against myself as some others have mentioned. but overall, it's a pretty good pair of ear-buds, definitely an upgrade from my senniheiser MX400.

I've had the Koss SportaPros for years now and they're pretty good considering I paid $16 shipped from buy.com years ago. They can probably still be found for under $20. IIRC they have the same drivers as the PortaPros. They're not very good for isolation however.

with the ksc35 and 75's, you can remove the ear clips and snap them into some cheap headbands. i know walmart has a $5 durabrand radio that comes with a headphone that works for this purpose. i hated the ear clips as they didn't work well for me, i love my headbanded ksc75's.

That's pretty cool. I usually wear them under a beenie in the winter anyways.

Ignore everyone else my friend. THESE are the best earbuds you can buy.

I don't know how this company does it, but the treble on these buds is awesome, and the bass puts my $80 Sony headphones to SHAME!
