I like my Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for my conroe. It idles at around 30 degrees and hardly climbs when I'm gaming. I think the highest temperature I've seen is around 35 degrees, but I'm not entirely sure on that.

I have the big typhoon on mine and it is fairly quiet and is nice and cool... Depending on room temps, it is normally idle around 34 to 36. I don't remember exactly what it is under a load, but I don't remember seeing it high than 45... Also, I have my e6400 running at 3.2ghz.

So the 45C load is with CoreTemp?? That's extremely good. My E6400 @ 3.4GHz idles at 52C with a Big Typhoon in an Antec P180 case with it closed. And I reseated and tightened down a lot. WIth the case open it goes down to about 46C idle.
I had a feeling someone would mention that. Not "wow. 42C core is pretty good after running Orthos -blend for two hours" but "wow, your NB temp is high."Damn, 52C and 57C for your northbridge? Are those temps accurate?
