Well i eat free range chicken and free range chicken eggs. Local farmer brings it to my parents store and sells it to them. It's illegal (i don't quite remember why... maybe the farmer doesn't have a license? maybe the eggs aren't inspected, i have no idea really) for some reason.

Growing up, my parents wanted to own a chicken farm. Us kids didn't want to live on a farm though at that age... but now that i'm older, i soooo want a farm and to live out in the country.

its interesting seeing that done though, seems cruel :s but then again, meet your meat!

i was laughing at moments too. they just kinda sit there and flap around a little bit, but in the end are helpless. normally not funny, but baby chicks are like squirrels and other small animals, and by themselves are quite humorous to me. add in random tumbling and flapping, and I am sure to crack a smile.

What surprises (confuses) me so much about the show is that it appears that they are taping a lot of it in Canada. I had assumed that everything in the world is now made in China... like the episode that includes tube socks. Shouldn't that have been taped in Mexico or China???!

It's a good show and I usually watch it if it is on... but it really pisses me off sometimes.

There was one about manufacturing solar panels that pissed me off.
They started by saying "The solar panel cells are manufactured offsite." They then proceeded to assemble the cells into a big plastic frame and solder wires to the cells.

WTF?! I can assume how they assemble something... I wanna know HOW THE CELLS ARE MADE.
Sometimes it is extremely generic.
