Which one of these heatsinks would best fit the DFI Infinity 975X/G and give me the best performance in a Lian Li PC-V2100PlusII case. Money is not a factor, i am just concerned about the fit and performance.

I have read countless reviews and following are the heatsinks which I think are the best SI-128, Noctua NH U12, Scythe Infinity or Scythe Ninja, Thermal right ultra 120

So please look at the case and the airflow orientation which is in the bottom of the lian li page (link is below) and tell me which heatsink would work the best. I will be overclocking but not a lot and I want to keep thing on the quiet side.

the V2100 is a massive case, so any of those heatsinks will fit in it just fine.

As far as the DFI infinity goes, I suspect they should all fit, and the sythe infinity appears to be the reference heatsink these days for minimum temperatures.

dude would u make up ur mind.In one thread ur saying u have a thermaltake armor and an ASUS P5WDH.
Now ur sayin u have a lian-li case and a DFI 975x mobo.
Well i don't which is true or if both are true???
As for ur question, the scythe infinity should fit on the DFI board without any problems.

Sorry for the confusion man, here is the thing I actually already have a TT armor which I bought for my bros, I am selling the whole system so i can build my bros a conroe system for gamind. Anyways TT armor was quite good and solid. They like the case so I am going to be building another conroe system w/ e6400 next week.

The Lian Li 2100 is the case for me, I have been giving Aromor a thought but decided that isn't going to cut it for me.

So I did make up mind after reading for 100's of hours I am just going to have to wait. There is no one mobo in the maket which I will be completely happy with so I am just going to wait for something better to come so atleast I can have a solid stable build for atleast 6months to a year. Any that sound not long for some people but I am addicted to hardware. I have gone through 9 computers in the 1 year, worked with a lot of processors.

A year ago I knew nothing about computers and then one day i was using my sony viao which i paid 1200 for and I wasnt too happy with it so decided that I am going to just learn to build computers so i can hook my self up.

Anyways this last year has been fun but my major is really hard and i have plans to go to grad school so cannot allow my self to spend 100 hours a week reading and playing with computers. So I figure this next system has to be very close to perfect for me and then I will take a break from the whole cycle of selling and then upgrading over and over. It really sucks thought that there is no motherboard in the whole market that will be future proof and full fill all my needs.

glad u see it that way.
U must have lot of patience to wait 2 months and not buy anything.Or u could buy a temporary motherboard like a 945P mobo which really inexpensive and get RD600 when it comes out.
I know u might be busy an all.But u can experience the fll goodness of core 2 duo for a really reduced price.

Where do you come up w/ that idea when there aren't any reviews for the infinity around? And no, the one in german doesn't really count.
