Best INTEL mobo?

Like the title says, what mobo would you buy? Are there any commin out in the near future worth waiting for?

If I had to buy a new motherboard today, it would be the Abit IT7 MAX2 v.2. I recently bought the BD7-II RAID I am using now and really like it. First Abit board I have owned, and I doubt it will be my last. Very stable compared to my previous Epox 4G4A+ and is a pretty amazing overclocker.

Wait for Evans review of teh SiS655 chipset and boards. Should be out in the next 7 days, thats what he said at least

How about the granite bay chipsets? arnt they suppsoed to own? are they worht the money you think. I saw the gigabyte on newegge for $260.. kinda steep if you ask me...

Well, let's put it this way. When I use the 3:4 ratio on my Abit BD7-II RAID, it runs neck and neck with Granite Bay and the 850 from the reviews I have read, and you only had to buy one stick of RAM, vs. two sticks for the Granite Bay. So far, the SIS 655 seems a tad slower than the Granite Bay, even when used in async mode.

I would go with a PE based board. They seem to be the best bang for the buck, and you can't beat the stability of an Intel chipset.
