I'm looking for a good solid QUIET cheap keyboard.

I dont want any specific features like programmable buttons or anything i hate those extras.

Just a plain normal keyboard without the J shaped enter key though.

Searched through the forums and saw lots of keyboard threads but all had their on specific requirements so now i need to post mine

currently using the Logitech Deluxe 104 key keyboard and i love it except some keys are beginning to become unresponsive and it is a little too loud for my late night gaming/anandteching

Just go down to your local PC shop and buy the cheapest generic keyboard they've got. There is a pretty good chance that it will meet all of your requirements.

tried that they either all had the L shaped Enter key or a caps lock key with an indented end on the key

The IBM Active Response keyboard is relatively quiet and no J-shaped enter key. It does have the indented CAPS lock but I don't know of any decent keyboard without that.

If you're willing to spend the extra cash to get a cordless keyboard, I highly recommend the Logitech iTouch. It has quiet buttons, and the batteries last quite a while (unlike the cordless mouse...). It does have 3 extra keys, but they're placed between the page navigation and arrow keys so they don't get in the way of anything.

It also doesn't have a J-shaped Enter key.

I have had no problems with this keyboard, and so I recommend it to you.
