Wow it took one page to mention a Bruce Lee movie. When I think of typical 70s "dubbed" kungfu, I think of the Bruce Lee movies. Nice fight scenes and the way Bruce Lee talks is kind of funny even though it isn't dubbed.

ya, get the once upon a time in china series, and Tsui Hark's older films (comedy action gold. i mean, they're not really meant to be funny, but it's so awesomely ridiculously awesome that it's funnily action packed awesome)

Instead of the stupid kung fu flicks, I suggest you take a look at the kick-ass samurai swordsmanship flicks starring Toshiro Mifune, directed by the master Akira Kurosawa. Several are really good movies, even though b&w w/ subtitles, and some were the foundations for subsequent famous American & European movies.

Some are:
Yojimbo (The Bodyguard),

The Hidden Fortress,

Rashômon,

The Seven Samurai (a long one),

Throne of Blood (is basically Willie the Shake's Macbeth )

Sanjûrô,

Akahige (Red as in blood Beard)

There are others, more worthy of your time than trash kung fu formula stuff. I have enjoyed the Iron Monkey for laughs, though.
