Best LCD with Built-in Speakers?

Want to eliminate all clutter from my desktop and would like to switch to a LCD with built-in speakers. Which LCD has the best sound via onboard speakers?

Most LCD's with built in sound have horrible sound. You may want to consider a Dell LCD, they sell a add on soundbar that is decent ---

you could get much better quality, and for not much extra cost by just getting a small 2.1 setup, its only 2 more small wires.

So the Dell soundbar is better than integrated speakers on other LCD's?

Guys, please do not recommend external speaker setups. I'm completely aware that they offer better sound, but that's not what I want at this time.

In that case, one LCD with speakers is about as good as any other.

i do remember a while ago, in an old system of mine i had a small unit that fitted into a 5.25 drive bay, it had stereo speakers, cant remember where it got too, but it had decent sound, havnt seen them for a while tho, might be somebody with one in FS/FT.

Here is one of those units i was talking about, although i doubt scorptec would be the best place to buy one, unless you live here in Aus, which you dont.

NEC 20WMGX2 (pricey but gorgeous) comes with a soundbar. I didn't test its speakers out much (I use cans, Senn HD595) but I did plug those into the phone jack on the side. Output was actually less than what comes straight out of the back of the X-Fi (might be higher impedance), but it didn't sound distorted or colored. So at least I can vouch for the circuitry not throwing a fit or imposing its own interpretation of things.

I picked up a Dell soundbar for my 19" Dell Ultrasharp LCD from ebay for about $20 new. Eliminates clutter and a wall wart ps. Two headphone inputs and a volume knob.
I have a nice stereo, so I just use it for sound while surfing, and I'm very happy with it.
Doesn't get very loud but perfect for my use. I'd buy it again in a hearbeat.

It has a blue led right in the middle that's lit when on. Doesn't bother me but could be annoying to you.
If it's for music listening you will probably want something else.

We use those here at work, and they sound decent. They mount under the LCD.

Same here - my Dell 19"LCD has that soundbar. Works great and looks good too.

Better to get them on eBay - lots cheaper.
