Best LED / Dimmer switch combination?

Originally I was going to buy Halo 4" 3500K LED (RL460WH935PK) downlights to go with the Lutron Maestro C-L digital dimmer (MACL-153M-WH).

However I did some search of the Halo/Maestro combination and there are a lot of complaints about buzzing noises.

I like the Maestro switches so I want to find a LED light that is compatible. The list that Lutron has on their website for compatible LEDs seems out of date. I can't find any lights they list on there. The lights have to have the orange LED connector since the cans I have are LED only.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've heard about quite a few problems when it comes to dimming LED downlights..But here is what worked for me:

No buzzing or anything. As for anything else, i'm not sure. That's just what I have here

I'd contact Halo directly, see what they recommend. They may have a list of dimmers known to work.

(This was true for my "Inspired LED" purchases anyhow, and saved me from having any issues)

Ok, did some more research around the local stores. Many of the electrical and lighting supply houses do not carry Halo. They carry Cyber Tech for budget minded people and Nora people who can afford something better. Apparently the Nora LEDs even work with incandescent dimmers.

I've bought 6 of these to work with incandescent and LED lighting, works fantastic. No buzzing. Does what it's supposed to.

What you want are ELV Dimmers. (Link to Amazon search page)

I have this Lutron Maestro Electronic Low Voltage Dimmer for the LED flood lights above my desk and it is by far and away, the quietest dimmer I have used. Depending on the LED bulbs used, the buzzing is either very quiet or non existent.

Specifically, I am using some Philips 426114 8-Watt LED Indoor Flood lights right now and, while they still buzz, it is much, much quieter than the non-ELV Maestro dimmer I was using before. At some point I intend to replace these bulbs with some better/newer ones.

With my Lutron Maestro ELV dimmer have also tried a Soraa Vivid 01619 LED PAR20 floodlight as well as a Phillips 6 Watt 35 Degree Flood LED Bulb. Neither
of these bulbs emitted any audible buzzing.

The ELV dimmers are crazy expensive.

I got the regular Lutron Maestro C-L dimmer for $18.35 each from Amazon 2 weeks ago when they were on sale. I bought 10 of them.

I also bought the Nora Oynx 4" 3000k LED for about $16.25 each.
