Best LED Monitor

I'm thinking about getting a 23-24 inch LED monitor. Any recommendations on one that is < $220?

Both and yes I know it's LED not OLED.

Well, I think this is the 23" (edit: also 16:9) version of this recently reviewed monitor. It's a little above your price range, but not much.

If you can stretch your budget by about $10, it shows up on Dell's site for $229 free shipping about once or twice a month. Subject to tax (depending on where you live). I don't think you'll find a better deal on this guy.

Picked up a pair of ASUS VS247H-P at Fry's @ $189/ea for a client the other day. I was very impressed. 23.6", LED/LCD 1080p, HDMI, Slim/lightweight. Unlike many monitors, the jacks on the rear of the monitor exit directly out of the back (parallel to the ground). This might be an issue if, for whatever reason, you want to mount these flush against a wall. For my purposes, it was actually a feature, because they look nicer mounted on adjustable arm with the cables exiting closer to the VESA mount.

I'm curious as to why an LED backlight is high on your priority list? Cheap ones are usually not as good as the traditional CCFL backlight.

But WHY do you want it? As in, what advantages are you looking to gain?

As for IPS vs. TN, I'd go IPS any day of the week. For my purposes, the viewing angles are worth it by themselves.
