Best mobo for e2140/60 to OC with under $70?

I was just wondering if there is a good solid mobo to OC an e2140/60 with a stock HSF? I would like the mobo to support DDR2 800mHz w/4 slots and have at least 4 SATA connections for future upgrades. Is the Abit IP35-e still the cheapest to reach a decent OC on stock HSF? What OC do you think I can reach with a stock HSF? I've read some where that someone reached 3 gig on stock HSF, which I would love to do, but not sure if this is likely with an e2140. I read part of the Abit IP35-e review post and thought that it was quite interesting. So there is my question. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

IP35-E should work well with E2140. The stock cooler is good up to about 3.0GHz. Note that maximum FSB of these chips is limited to about 425MHz. You can get IP35-E @ MWAVE for $71 AR.

Is there another mobo, without MIR that would do as well as the IP35-e?

You can look at the Gigabyte. About $90. It doesn't overclock as well as the IP35-E. Both should be able to take a capable chip up to 3.0GHz.

The p31 or the p35 version? Which one are you referring to?

Would a p965 chipset work well to OC a e2140/60 to about 3 gig on stock cooling?

I've only used one P965 chipset board recently, and that is the Biostar TforceP965. I actually had around 4 of them and none of them would take an 800MHz FSB chip up past around 350MHz BIOS setting, almost as if there was a fabled "FSB hole." Same chips were fine on both my Abit IP-35E boards to 400Mhz (double restart and all). I had sold one board to someone who had an E6300 and it went up just fine, so I'm thinking a FSB strap issue, but not too sure because I BSEL modded one chip and it still had the issue though it would initial-boot at the higher speed.

Cool, thanks for the info. I just haven't bought for an intel chip since the P4 3.2 Prescott that I have on my son's computer, so I just wanted to make sure I was getting what I needed to run an e2140/60 smoothly.

How so? I have Asus P5b-e and it took my e4300 to 3.01ghz (334x9).

Those P5B Deluxe boards are rare exceptions. They run hot and require more Vcore to achieve the same level of overclock as a P35 board.
