I use my computer for 50% web browsing, 40% reading black text on white background and 10% gaming (Overwatch). I don't care about gaming at high resolution, it's not a determining factor.
Right now I am using dual Dell 24" U2414H 1080p monitors. I also have a QStar 27" 1440p monitor that I used to run at 96hz but it's just sitting around. Running with a Geforce GTX 750 Ti video card.
I'm at a point where I want to spend money on the things that I do the most and am willing to spend more on a quality monitor IF it makes a difference. With my usage, would it make sense to upgrade to a 144hz monitor? I'd want something that's easy on the eyes (strain wise).
Read mentions of OLED monitors but they're quite expensive. Some say 2017 is hte year to look forward to for new models. If I go back to a single monitor, I'd want a 1440p one, otherwise I'd prefer dual monitors for 1080p.
