Best Mootherboard to invert

Heya,

I'm considering purchasing a Lian-Li PC-767 case that requires motherboard to be mounted upsidedown. I was also considering the Asus A8N-SLI Premium to go with it, but have read articles and forums that suggest inverted heatpipes don't groove.

I'm looking for a nice motherboard for my Athlon X2 4400 cpu that would work well inverted, stay cool, and not require a loud fan.

The only passively cooled boards without heatpipes i can think of are the Geforce 6100/6150 Micro ATX ones, unless you don't need a PCI-E slot.

I'll agree with doc2345 and recommend DFI. Basically, any motherboard without heatpipes will do fine inverted. The chipset fan on the DFI boards is not known to be loud. Some ASUS boards have had troubles with a noisy/defective fan, and I replaced mine with a Zalman passive cooler (an A8V-E Deluxe).

i have the same problem but not experienced enough for DFI. i have inverted MB case and want asus a8n-premium, will i have problems?
