Back in the AMD Thunderbird days I had a Gigabyte board go bad on me. It was probably my fault, I think I scratched the bottom of the board on the case.
I had it RMAd, which cost me like $20 to send it because it went off to Taiwan and about 2 weeks later it returned in the same condition. I RMAd it again and after another 2 weeks it returned in working order.
I had a MSI Athlon x64 board that had a bad southbridge on it. MSI refused to RMA it because I didnt register it with them 30 days after purchase.
In 2007 I had a EVGA Geforce 7600 go bad and EVGA replaced it within a week.
So from experience I have to agree that EVGA has the best RMA support.
