Thread inspired by mention of Johnny Cash's "When The Man Comes Around" which was used (quite well) in the season finale of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It's an excellent juxtaposition, a cheery sounding song about The Armageddon, used over scenes of intense (implied) violence.
It reminded me of this. Probably my favorite movie intro ever.
There's nothing I dislike more about a movie than sitting through 5 minutes of names displayed over meaningless graphics before a movie starts.
ATOT, what movie intros do you love?

I agree. 5 minutes of black screen accompanied by a dull hum is actually pretty cool

I always liked the intro to 'Patriot Games' for some reason.
