Nice to see Braid there leading the list. Dark Athena was kind of disappointing, expected it to be much better actually.

Braid is awesome but ever since I've read the monumental amount of bullcrap its creator spews around on forums and interviews I've lost loads of respect for him and his game.

FEAR 2 and Call of Duty: World at War were this year. H.A.W.X. was this year, but for a more select market. Those were all great games. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood was also this year, although I haven't played it yet, I will be firing it up in the next few days. later this year is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Bioshock 2.

Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead were also this year, but I didn't finish them.

Lots of good titles were released last year around October/November. I would expect that to be true this year as well.

Also, keep an eye out for the next installment of Half Life sometime in the next 2-5 years (if we are lucky, apparently).

Wow. I would have sworn they came out this year. I wonder if this is a sign that I am getting old.

If the post on Alan Wake is anything to go by, more and more titles will be console exclusive. I wonder if the postponments you refer to will turn out to be permanent. I wouldn't advise anybody to update their graphics card in the near future.
