best not biased site to follow the war?

I am sick of reading the same thing over and over again(CNN, MSNBC,FOX).

Is ther a way to get aljazeera type of news? I am interested in what the other side is reporting.

I know there are propbaly a few sites out there that track the war or at least report the war more accurately.

where are you guys looking for war updates ?

someting in the line of drudge report.

Aljazeera's not biased? ACK! They are...just biased against the west.

BBC is pretty good. MSNBC would be better if they'd drop some of the exaggerated terms ('awesome', 'huge', 'enormous', etc.)

news.google.com is also a good compendium of articles.

btw, npr and bbc are populated by anti-war leftists, just so you guys know.

the most unbiased (or at least it gives you both sides) information i've found has been on cnn and in the washingtonpost.

but you guys need to stop bitching about bias. this is the united states so OF COURSE american news sources are going to have an "american" slant.

Don't kid yourself....there is no such thing as a "not biased" news station. Your best option is to gather data from what all sides are reporting and then use your own judgment in determining which information is accurate, which is possibly valid, which is just rumor/speculation, and which is lies/propaganda.

BBC . . . arguably center with the lowest degree of bias.

NPR . . . arguably left of center but closer to reality than most US networks.

Lehrer is useful b/c they are more likely to provide 80% info and 20% commentary versus the Big 4 which are essentially 80% commentary, 10% hype, and 10% info.

FOXNews is garbage but gives serious airtime to some gorgeous women. CNN and MSNBC have been racing to catch up with FOX's lack of substance. As for CNBC, Kudlow and Kramer are FOX-lite . . . they just talk faster, louder, and are less pleasing to the eye.
