Best option for wow multiboxing?

Hey guys, currently running a Q6600 with 4Gb ram and a 9600GT for multi-boxing WoW with 5 instances on the pc, 1 fullscreen on 22" @ 1650 x 1080 and 4 on the other 22" 1/4 screen each.

I'm currently having some framerate issues (eg only getting around 15fps on all instances) so have decided to bite the bullet and build up a second pc to handle 4 of the instances and use the current pc to run the main instance + have a second screen free to check web/email/watch movies as I am playing.

My main thoughts at the moment are to build up something like another Q6600 + 8Gb RAM + dual 9800's to run 2 monitors each for a total of 4 monitors when not SLI'd. This thinking then led to me questioning if getting dual GX2's may be the better option, giving me quad sli for normal games (such as FSX) while also giving each monitor and instance of WoW the equivalent of a single 9800GTX to itself with SLI disabled.

Is my thinking correct here, and would the be the best option in the current climate (ignoring any vapourware or ATI offerings) given my proposed build with dual GX2's is under budget or am I thinking about it wrong and misunderstanding something that would negate any percieved benefits?

How about using your current rig to run the 4x instances of WoW, and perhaps to assign processor affinity to each WoW game so that each one gets a core? Perhaps run Vista 64 with 8GB RAM on that one. You may also want to set graphics quality to medium or below as these ¼ screens are just for (I'm guessing) following around and such, so you don't need super eye candy.

Then, build a second rig with a dual core and another 9600GT for your main WoW screen.

Of course if you have the money and want to throw it at WoW (after paying five monthly fees) then you can just go overboard and get top-end everything.
