Best OTA DVR?

I want a solid device with no lag.
Must have a strong guide.
Don't care if it has a monthly subscription or not, as long as it is solid.

Other needs:
Want to be able to watch different live OTA programs as well as recorded programs on 3 different TVs at the same time. Assume I'll need 3 DVRs?

What I have:
1 HD OTA Antenna
3 TVs in 3 different rooms

If someone suggests a PC Tuner and Plex:
Main TV does have a computer connected to it. But the PC Tuners I have seen are not what I would consider "stable". It's a USB thumb drive with a coaxial connection on the other end. Coaxial cables are stiff and heavy, I don't want the cable pulling on the USB port. I guess I could run a USB extension cord to take the weight off but will that degrade the quality?
How do I get OTA to the other TVs?

TIA

I got the Tivo Romaio OTA a couple years ago. Works pretty well although the wifi crapped out on it. Think I paid around $300 for it which included lifetime channel guide (vice monthly or annual fee). If I want multi-room functionality I can add tivo minis which can't record but can play recorded content from the romaio.

Overall I enjoy the fact I don't have to trouble shoot my DVR on a regular basis which is what I was doing prior to buying the tivo (had a PC tuner with various DVR programs) and I'm glad i made the purchase.

I've had good luck with Tablo. They're fairly inexpensive, the interface is nice, and the only fee is like $30 a year for the OTA guide. LG and Samsung TVs even have their app built in. They have a 4 tuner model.

This is what i have and did the same thing with the lifetime on special. My wifi still works. Have never had an issue with it yet.

Not at all. Long digital cables are always preferable to long analog cables, unless you're trying to use the cables as an antenna. I have two USB tuners hooked to a coax splitter with "cables" that look like this.

I haven't figured out how to stream to other TVs well, but that's probably because I'm not willing to pay for software.

Do you already own any streaming devices? Most are going to want a roku, firestick, appletv, etc as a client. Some of the boxes will service one TV natively.

I have a Fire Stick in the master bedroom and a ChromeCast in the guest bedroom.

My dad has a Tablo and really likes it, but his version only has two tuners. It is also really flexible with external storage options. He has to pay for the extended guide.

I went with the Recast because it has four tuners and integrates really well with the Fire TV interface (huge plus for me). I don't have to open a separate app to get to my live programs. It's a little more picky about which drives will work for external storage, but with 1tb internal I don't really need it. And the guide is free.

Yeah, they have a two and four tuner version. Honestly I rarely use more than two tuners though

I've had the Channel Master DVR+ for about four years now and really like it. No subscription fee, works with any tv antennae, and I added a 1tb HDD for extra storage. They discontinued that model in favor of their new call the Stream+which looks to be even better but I haven't used it yet.
