Does Anand really have that? I've always wondered what his system's specs were.

Yes Anand's Compaq desktop (a Black Friday "almost free after rebate" deal) is very impressive. It can handle Oregon Trail and Wolfenstein.

fastest things i use are 4 servers which are dual HT 2.66Ghz Xeon's with 2GB ram a piece. one has 4x15,000RPM 73gb in 2 mirrored sets.

cant talk them into upgrading to quad dualcore opterons.
