Best PCI-E Video Card ~$100???

I don't game much, in fact my X800GTO worked fine enough, but I want something with Dual DVI ports, and around $100. It'll be running in a Q6600 system with 4GB of RAM. When i do game its only play crap like quake3 and 4, BF2, Warcraft III, Starcraft etc.

That card you're eyeing on are now on sale for $90 (after $30 rebate, free shipping). It is a good deal and it is factory OCed to 700Mhz/2200MHz to boot.

Third card from the right imo. I would pick one up but I already had a 8600 GT XXX and my next upgrade is to the 9 Series

I don't think you'll notice the difference between the 3850 and the 2600Xt, also the 2600XT is better in the sense that it has 512 mb of ram so it can have more moving objects on screen at once, for the price and what you play I'd still suggest the 2600Xt.

One review was a DOA card (for that foxconn 8600GT) and I think its dumb people give a bad review for DOA. It happens, thats where there are warranties and return policies. If your 2nd or 3rd arrives bad, sure make a bad review.
The 2nd bad review was because the guy couldnt install the drivers off the CD... Download them from the web like your supposed to.

3850 is much faster than 2600xt... about twice as fast. The size of ram on 2600xt does not matter since it's too slow.

What are you talking about?

An analogous: I don't think you'll notice the difference between a 8800 GT 256MB and a 8600 GT.

HD 3850 is leaps and bounds better than 2600 XT. But if the OP's price range is below $100, then yeah 2600 XT and 8600 GT for $70~80. I would recommend 2600 XT for Vista, and 8600 GT for XP.

I wouldn't get that, as its DDR2. I think you would want the GDDR3 version. The eVGA 8600GT is $70 AR at Newegg, and with a volt mod, it can oc pretty darn far.

I didn't mean the pure difference of the cards power but the games they'll be used in, if you looked at the OPs list its not exactly the most graphics intensive games around, pretty old with the most advanced games being BF2 and Quake 3. I know the 3850s are about the power of the 2900 Pros.

If you are firmly limited to $100 you are firmly in the lower end cards and that one is pretty good. XFX is definitely one of the better companies out there also.
