Try http://www.iphotoforum.com/forum/
There are some amazing photos in the critique area, they have a monthly contest, and there's lots of good info in the other forums.

I just left you a reply over there. Sometimes it takes a while to get any comments, so be patient.

hmmm disappointing to see that http://dpreview.com hasn't already been mentioned...
Lots of sub-forums for different brands and for general post-proc/softwares discussions... And all are very active!!!
I don't think there's any better photography forums out there....
I wondered how long it woudl take for someone to mention Photo.net. That place is an amazing resource, especially if you still shoot with film. Whenever I need inspiration to go out and shoot, that forum has it.Originally posted by: Baked
On a more serious note, check out http://photo.net/community/forums Some of the photos they post on that site are amazing.

Ehhh.... I used to do dpreview, but now I see it as way too amateurish. The pics that people post are by and large amateurish and snapshot-ish, although there are a few that are professional. However the forums are massive and quick so I go there for information, like on which portable image storage device I should buy, etc.
Fred Miranda on the other hand is smaller, slower, but the quality of the photos that people take are largely top notch.
