My last order from vistaprint felt cheap and looked a little crooked too, guess I have to go up budget. Suggestions?
I made my own in Photoshop and sent them to the local print shop. Just plain text but they look great (IMO).
To print, or create?
Love how you guys are getting budget business cards online. Real professional.

If the cards look nice, who gives a damn (or would even know) where they were printed.

Have you seen a Vista Print card? freedomsbeat212 - please post a photo.
Who cares where they were printed? Well, you should and definitely the person you're handing it to does. You want to make business cards to make an impression yet you don't really seem to care about what they look?
If you aren't willing to spend $30 to $50 on a good to great set of commercial print shop quality business cards, it may send the message that you aren't worth the time or day to work with.

sswingle - I don't have a problem with getting business cards online. That's not the part that concerns me. I said budget (aka cheap) cards. And cheap stuff rarely looks good. But hey, you might be like Gibson486 who thinks Vista Print cards are SO good he's doing his wedding invites on them. I can't think of a better endorsement.
Did vista print touch you when you were a little kid? Really? Did they? I mean, I have met many wedding planners who say vista print does a good job with them. Even if you go to Staples online, they use vista print also. So, what exactly is the issue? Have you even bought stuff from them? What makes it look cheap?

Maybe when I get home I'll take a picture of the quality of cards from the last set I ordered from there.
They worked for their intended purpose, but were not high quality (although I didn't pay for high quality stuff either).
