HP 930/932, 950/952, 970 and even the 842 all support USB.

To all those with clogged epson print heads, here is how to fix them with out running through a ton of ink. take some old cartridges (a black and a color) and put some tape on the bottom hole. Then peel off the tape from the top until the two small holes are exposed. Take a siring and fill the caridiges with rubbing alcohol. THen re-tape the top holes and run the cartridges through the machine until all print heads are firing (if you use used carts, there should still be enough ink for you to see that they all are workin. I have had my 700 sitting on my desk for about 6 months with no actions and it will bring it back really quick (20min tops)

Sounds like it might just be easier for a first time printer buyer to save the headache and buy the HP.

I would try that alcohol trick to my Epson, but I got so pissed at the POS that I threw the f'n thing out of a window.

I had a really old epson, and the alcohol trick worked twice... after that.. i could have tried removing the print heads... but i had no idea how to remove the casing w/o destroying it... it seems to be sealed or something.

But i didn't try for long, cause it wouldn't be worth it as i got an HP832 for $100 shipped (ah, the good ol' VA days ). Any of my friends w/ epsons haven't really hit a clogged print head problem like me, but everything else.. noise, constant self cleaning... just no good IMO.

Replace it. Canon sells the printhead assembly with ink cartridges installed at Staples, Office Max, etc. It's like $45 bucks.
