Best Seats in Oakland Coliseum?

For those who have seen a baseball game at the Oakland Coliseum, where do you like to sit? I may just go with the "best available" seat option on TicketMaster, but wanted to hear some first hand experience first.

Only been there once when I was out there for work but it was a mid-week game and we moved around all over the place during the game. Even w the Red Sox it's probably not going to be packed if it's not a weekend game so just get cheap tickets to get in the door. The upper level is completely closed off.

I love the left-field bleachers for the character, but I am an A's fan so.. If you are rooting for the other team, and don't feel like getting razzed, ya might want to sit somewhere else

I have had seats on the first base line, just behind the dugout. Those were nice.

OP- I like seats right behind my team's dugout...I'd go with that if possible. But honestly, you're probably not going to get TOO great of seats since it's vs. the Sox.

SoulAssassin, the crowds have actually been pretty good (for A's standards).

I may just go for the best seat available and be done with it. I'll probably end up moving around quite a bit anyway.

I'm going to be a covert Red Sox fan.

if you sit behind the visiting bullpen, they make annoying Whoooooooooooshhhhh sounds when the bullpen warms up. Everytime a ball is thrown back and forth from pitcher and catcher

Decided to go with the super cheap bleachers seat -- I have always loved the bleachers! Lots of BoSox fans everywhere in the stadium.

Schilling came out away from a no hitter.

I always go with the bleachers. I'm cheap. That stadium is never full and you can sneak down to 2nd level easily. Of course that's a different story at Giants games =P
