As moderator, while I enjoy a spirited debate, please remember to avoid labelling people (ad hominem attacks) as "shills", "trolls", or whatever else. And, as cronos correctly pointed out, the original poster decided on his phone a few days ago. And, TreVader, it is worth noting - as many others already have - that the original poster only listed Android phones so this vigorous defense of the iPhone seems a bit out of place.

Looks like you didn't read my posts.

I think we differ in tone.

Personally I think 1GB of RAM in a 2014 phone is the biggest screwjob Apple has done since the iPad 3. Because of this HUGE deficiency I won't recommend these generation of iPhones to ANYONE unless they want the 5C model (as it actually has the most effective RAM of the entire lineup).

I think just because of the 1GB issue alone it is a JOKE for anyone that even pretends to know about technology to claim any iPhone is the best phone of 2014. Simply put, between the bending and the 1GB of ram NEVER has the need to wait for the S version been so important.

I will say now is the time to get an iPhone if you've been considering one. It's the start of a 2 year cycle and the design and display are all-new. For better or for worse, it's mostly the phone that will be for sale 22 months from now.

No way that will be the same phone, not after bendgate. Just like they fixed the antenna in the iPhone 4 for the 4s Apple will also add some backbone next year to the iPhone.

Oh and next year's model will finally come with more effective RAM than the 2012 model.

I personally feel completely different than you. Every friend and family member that has asked me about the new iPhone has heard "What do you have now? Is there any way you can make it to new year's version so you don't get screwed so bad?"

iPhone 6+ are a fail from what I've read. It's bending too easy I would stick with the S5, it's awesome... but that's just my opinion.

Along with the 1 gig of Ram, the 16 Gig of base internal storage is also a screwjob as well. It basically forces people to upgrade to the 64 gig model to have a pleasant experience. 32 gigs should be the default these days (OR an expandable microsd slot). The funny thing is, ios 8 adoption is going poorly because people don't have enough space to download the update and few people know they can update via itunes instead. "It just works?". Hardly.

I'm probably going to buy the Z3C and maybe switch over to the 6S/6S+ next year IF Apple decides to not screw over customers with their cash grabbing/poor user experience philosophy.

Edit: Also, including OIS in the 6+ and not the 6 is also infuriating.

Oh how do you like it? I really really want one on T-Mobile

I LOVE IT!

Nice built in apps and all my favorites from Amazon and Google Play work well.

Smooth, sleek, simple. So far my only issue is setting up the schools email.
But I had to get help with every android device so thats not a big problem.

Is the battery life as good as they say in the reviews? And have you used it outside in direct sunlight? I'd love a black one.. I might just break down and buy one from Sony

I am not trolling at all, merely educating people who may not have access to the info I have!

I don't think OP knows how bad the G3 is in person and how good the 6 is.

G3 has a better screen for sure, but adreno 330 won't cut it for QHD. Adreno 420 barely cuts if in the note 4, which is a far superior phone IMO

Edit: you'll notice I put "2014"
Instead of 2014

You could buy all those phones from a carrier in 2014

Even if you remotely convinced me that this phone or that phone is THE BEST thing next to sliced bread, and furthermore convinced me that the G3 is a POS, I'll still go with my own research (which I did) as 1 or 2 opinions don't constitute as definite facts.
So please don't "assume" you know what I think is good or bad for me and then try to justify your position with your fanboi posts (you know what happens when you assume right??).
I already knew the i6 is a good phone, but there was a reason why I didn't entertain that as I wanted an Android......everyone else in this thread seemed to understand that (well almost everyone......)
It's one thing to humbly educate people, and a whole another thing to impose your way or the highway is the only way.

FWIW, I'm extremely happy with the purchase of my Android G3 and it's an awesome phone.......performs very well to all my needs + then some!!! Thanks again to everyone here.
