Connecticut: I love Pepe's white clam pizza and that picture almost tempted me to drive to New Haven to get one. It's not really a snack though.

Salt water taffy is a very popular summer treat in NJ. I agree.

And since I'm on a rant, Pepe's (CT) and it's rival (Sallys) are vastly overrated-I've been to at least a dozen other pizza parlors in CT that are as good or better. CT's winner should be steamed cheeseburgers. I suspect some cardiologist was on the panel.

I agree with the Michigan one if you are in the Metro Detroit area. I think better snack would be either coney dogs or chili cheese fries for the lower peninsula and pasties for the upper peninsula

I'll also add kolaches to the mix. Nothing beats a good Czech kolache - and no, not the blasphemous pigs in a blanket that some donut shop sell. Legit fruit, cheese, or poppy seed kolaches, with pesipka on top.
