I just read through that thread and all I can say is ->

I cant believe all the people bashing you for saying Tool completely "owns" Linkin Park when it comes to any sort of musical skill/lyrical content etc... ITS THE TRUTH, just like a chair is a chair, and not a banana! Theres a world of difference between Tool and LP, and notice I am nowhere near a fan of Tool... I find many of their songs to be quite boring to me, but I have no problem acknowledging they have tremendous musical skills, and the problem about me not getting their music is MINE, not theirs... I still think "The Grudge" is a masterpiece for its complexity without giving up the catchiness factor...

I also cant believe someone just implied Britney Spars is good music because people like it... Oh my god... Let us be elitists and keep appreciating the good stuff, and let the sheep follow their own

You dont have to be a Tool fan or even a rock fan to know that Maynard is more talented than all of linkin park (and the people from the label who write their hits for them) combined.

For those that dont know the lead singer started a 3rd project, which is mostly all of his unreleased solo and APC stuff.

I just got the 10000 Days album (Forgot it was even out). Wasn't all too impressed considering it's been the first Tool album since...2000? Though 3 songs out of 11 isn't bad. It seemed more instrumental than vocal which is unfortunate since Tool's strength has always been their vocals and poetic lyrics . The other songs were just acid trips.

Hah..only a 2 month bump.
