Best SSD to run VM's?

Whats the best SSD to run VM's???

What kind of VMs? Is this just virtualization on the desktop for light use, or are you equipping a server?

If it's very write intensive don't go lower than Intel S3700 (high write IOPS and high write endurance).

For servers with moderate to high write workloads you can also choose the Intel S3500.

For test / home lab I think the Intel 520 would be okay.

A friend of mine is running VM as well and I think he has Kingston HyperX 240GB. I'm not sure if this is the best SD for running VMs but I guess that could work. I'm using Samsung 840PRO but I don't run VMs but I bet this could also run VMs.

I'm often running 2 VMs at a time on my laptop, which I use at work for software development (I have about 20 VMs in total). I've been using two Samsung 830 SSD for about 2 years now, and they've been fine. Before that I had a Crucial M4 and that also worked well. The workload on my VMs is much lower than a typical Server VM would be.
