Best Star Trek Series?

I have to hand it to the Original Series. The special effects are crap, the aliens look like guys in rubber suits, and the plasticky starship interiors look cheaper than a dell inspiron laptop, but somehow the crew is just charming (Spock debating McCoy all the time, Scotty's love of the Enterprise and Engineering, Kirk kicking people's @ss, etc).

TNG is also pretty good for the same reasons. DS9 is ok... never cared much for V'Ger or Enterprise.

DS9 all the way! sure kirk is a pimp and all, picard is a weak POS, and janeway isn't even a real captain... but DS9 takes it all. good show all around, interesting plots

TNG without question. The first season was a little shakey, but by the 3rd season it was hitting its stride and some episodes were friggen fantastic.

They still hold up to this day.

DS9 In the Pale Moonlight. One of the best Trek episodes ever.
It's a toss up for me, I can watch TOS(the original series), TNG or DS9 all day long and not get tired of it, but Enterprise i can barely sit throu an episode, and Voyager is almost as bad. The inconsistancy in the writting is what made Voyager bad. In one episode Janeway would do anything to get her crew back even if it meant blowing up a planet with billions of people, the next she wouldn't stomp on a cockroach.

I think DS9 tops the rest as there is a continuity to the episodes, where actions in one epeisode affect future eps, TNG TOS and even Voayger kinda did whatever they wanted in each episode and it was over.

i like Enterprise in Season 3. Everything before that sucked. TNG was good, didn't watch much of TOS or DS9 or Voyager

WEll not just Viacom, Brana Braga and Rick Berman need to both die. The f'ed star trek up when they made Voyager. It was a good premise and all, but was executed poorly.

DS9 by far.

Think of it as a continuous movie, seven seasons in length. How friggen cool is that!

I used to watch TNG all the time in HS since it was the only thing good on at 10:30 watched it for a few months than I just kept seeing repeats, so quit watching it. But I put a vote in for TNG since it was IMO lots better than the rest I've seen.

I don't think it is continuous untill The Search when the Dominion is introduced, then it gets good, all the episodes before it just kinda had the furmula that TNG and TOS had and no real aim.

TNG was my favorite, but looking back, I think DS9 > TNG. Voyager and Enterprise fall far behind those two. I just didn't care about Voyager or her crew, and while Enterprise is pretty entertaining, I haven't watched it enough to really form an attachment.

The original, in my opinion, isn't easy to compare to all the new shows.

The Next Generation was the best. Exploration of new life, meeting new civilizations, exploring humanity.

TOS first time round was great but it's looking V dated now heh.

TNG was the best imo

Deep Sh1t 9... nuff said

Voyager great once 7 of 9 arrived though some episodes were painfully bad

Enterprise, good but I hate the way they've completely ignored the timeline of the star trek series

Just my opinion

DS9, by a long shot. Most interesting characters, very few "alien of the week" episodes, not to mention DS9 has "Spots".

I don't think any Star Trek has a better line than, "So, just how far down do those spots go?"
