as for OP, it was a medium rare gorgonzola crusted filet mignon at a restaurant in Downtown SD. jeez my mouth os watering just thinking about it.

This cheapass leftover chocolate cake one of the first times I got high. The sensation of the richness and texture of the chocolate was on a level that felt like a mental drowning in a huge vat of super rich and creamy chocolate.
Oh I wish pot would be that good everytime.

I've had a lot of good food. The best was probably a steak seasoned by my mom and cooked by my brother (honestly, I prefer his grilling to my dad's - he's not afraid of blood).

Although, ribs that have been slow-smoked for 8 hours with a good rub are quite amazing as well.

I normally hate all things pasta, but I was in Rome and "when in Rome...", so about 2 blocks off the main drag into the Vatican my dad and I found a hole in the wall restaurant. I went with simple spaghetti and not only was it the best pasta I have ever had, it was the best meal I have ever had.

A distant second was the best cheeseburger I ever had, at the Whistlestop diner in Winslow Arizona. I say distant second because it could have been the hunger that drove me to think this cheeseburger was the end all be all of food.

A blueberry dessert at a restaurant in the smoky mountains over twenty years ago. I can't remember the name of it or the place, but it was extremely good.
