My budget is $150, which I know limits my selection right away... I just want to know the best value at that price point, cheaper is good too (I'm a broke college student who drives too much). I'm ok with new, used, or refurbed GPS.
You can get a Tom Tom XL Widescreen with touch screen and voice directions from best buy now at 199.99, and there are coupons in the hot deals that will get you 24$ off (12%) with a rewards card (free).
Anyways, my budget is pretty strictly $150, the Magellan 3225 is definitely doable but somewhat mixed reviews on Amazon. Any thoughts on TomTom ONE or Garmin Nuvi? These are pretty highly rated on Amazon and right about $150 (but the Magellan is typically $200, so does $$$ mean better quality?)
Garmin Nuvi 200
Works great 99% of the time. The only problem I have had with it is that it can become confused when you have several large roads merging together at once.
