Best video card for my processor?

Hey all,
I have an older processor (AMD Phenom II X6 1055T) running at 2.8 Ghz. I have a GeForce GTX 460 and 8 gigs of RAM. I'm a big fan of Blizzard games, and have gotten back into Diablo III recently. I see vids of people playing with ridiculously high frame rates. Mine dips down into the teens during heavy multiplayer stuff. Would a video card upgrade help? Or do you think the processor is the bottleneck?

If a new video card would help, what's the max you would recommend that wouldn't be too much for the processor? I like nVidia, but am open to anything.

Any other relatively cheap upgrades?

The processor will be a bottleneck in certain situations. It really depends on what settings your running the games at. That being said, if it were me I think I'd start saving to build a whole new system. I'm not sure how much more performance you're going to get out of it. If you do decide to upgrade your video card and you're mostly playing Blizzard games - just keep in mind they tend to run a bit better on NVIDIA cards - a geforce 960/970 couldn't hurt, but you won't see a huge performance increase until you replace that CPU.

what's your MD?? plus only at 2.8; if you want keep your frames from dipping you need up OC that bad boy

Cheapest upgrade would be to O/C that CPU. Should hit 3.5GHz with no additional voltage, assuming your motherboard allows that.

Overclock that mother. If you are using the stock fan, grab a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo for $30 and go for it

Lower the resolution in the game. If the FPS increases, then yah a faster graphics card will help. If the FPS stays the same, then overclock the CPU or get a faster CPU.
